With the current workforce crisis, 96% of nursing homes are experiencing staffing and hiring challenges.
In a recent interview with Skilled Nursing News, Marquis Companies’ President and CEO, Phil Fogg, shared the following in regard to the long-term care staffing shortages, “The workforce shortage is creating serious access issues; because facilities do not have enough staff, suppressing total occupancy levels and limiting admissions, especially in rural communities.”
