Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long will I or my loved one be here?

    Each person’s experience is different; therefore, it is challenging to give an exact time.  The average Post Hospital stay is 20-60 days.

  • What will my room be like?

    No matter the service type, providing personal space is a priority at Marquis. Your room is dependent on your level of care and your preferences (such as a semi-private or private room), when available.

  • What will the food be like?

    We take pride in providing delicious meals, and cook from scratch as often as possible. A salad bar and fresh fruit are available daily. If you have a specific diagnosis, lifestyle, or religious related dietary restriction, please inquire with your chosen facility. We can accommodate most restrictions and will work with you whenever possible.

  • Will there be any privacy?

    We honor privacy and adhere to the Resident’s Rights guaranteed by the 1987 Federal Nursing Home Reform Law, including Privacy and Confidentiality in regards to:

    • Communication with any person of their choice
    • Treatment and care of one’s personal needs
    • Medical, personal, and financial affairs

  • What will Post Hospital therapy be like?

    We include the patient in setting their own goals so they have ownership in their outcome. Therapy may be multidimensional and will always be performed by certified therapists and clinical in nature. It will be comprehensive, tailored to your goals, and 6-7 days a week on average.

  • What will the other people be like?

    We take care to match people with the best environment possible for where they are in their journey. Most people find that the folks they are with, are just like them.
