At Marquis, we believe strongly in identifying potential leaders and promoting from within. We’re always looking for those who have the right skills and the desire to advance into leadership. If you emanate passion and positivity, demonstrate clinical or operational knowledge, and embrace innovation and change, you’ll be a great fit for our Peak Pathways leadership development programs.

  • Launch: One-day workshop, open to all employees

Launch is an all-day workshop designed to enhance professional skills and kickstart a career planning conversation. Participants have the opportunity to learn about opportunities within Marquis and to engage in sessions covering customer service training, communication skills, career development, and finding joy and passion at work. The event is a significant step toward career growth, and all employees are encouraged to attend.

  • Rise: Five-day training, new and future leaders

Rise is a one-of-a-kind management bootcamp, designed with new and future leaders in mind. Rise cohorts are selected through a nomination/application process and enjoy a deep dive into the essential skills of leadership. Over the course of five distributed days, cohort members will explore concepts in philosophy, people, persuasion and more, all while meeting with senior leaders and subject matter experts throughout the company.

  • Ascend: One year cohort, senior and executive leaders

Ascend has been painstakingly designed to meet the needs of our established leaders aspiring to move into a senior or executive level position at Marquis and Consonus. Candidates for Ascend must meet specific criteria and complete an application process. From Finance to Empathy, we hope you discover your own passions and potential, are exposed to senior leaders, and can identify your next seat on the Marquis bus.

Hands-On Training

Clinical Placements and Experiences

At Marquis and Consonus we are dedicated to educating future clinical experts in senior care, because we know there is nothing more critical to our field’s success than ensuring we have enough qualified professionals to take care of our patients.

We work with StudentMax Connections (SMC) Clinical Placement Consortium in hospitals and University Networks to coordinate clinical rotations for NA, LPN and RN students. Our dedicated Education Coordinator will work tirelessly to ensure your students have a seamless experience in a placement that is just right for them.

Internships and Administrative Residency Programs

The Marquis Internship (10-12 weeks) and Administrative Residency Programs (6-12 months) are the first step on a path of lifelong learning and future leadership as a Marquis team member. These programs are critical talent pipelines into our “Peak Pathways” Career Development journey, and we are invested in ensuring that you get as much from your experience as we gain from having you be a part of it.

During these paid programs, you’ll participate in immersive and experiential job rotations through every department so that you can see just how our business runs from every aspect. You’ll also have the opportunity to experience our incredible culture as you work on meaningful projects and events. You can apply for an internship opportunity (offered year-round) through our Careers page and dive head first into the career of a lifetime.

Administrator In Training Program

Our Administrator in Training (AIT) program allows us to organically develop the natural talents of future leaders. In this hands-on experience AITs learn how each department functions, working side-by-side with employees in our facilities. These experiences develop resourceful future Administrators who understand the day-to-day challenges of their employees, and know how the business works from all aspects while also learning to evaluate operational efficacy, compliance and quality. AIT candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in order to be placed into the program. Upon completion of the AIT program, candidates must sit for State and Federal licensing exams.
