Portland, OR—On March 16, 2018, the Oregon Patient Safety Commission (OPSC) honored healthcare organizations at the Seventh Annual Oregon Patient Safety Forum for their strong patient safety work in 2017. Honorees included healthcare organizations that have made an outstanding commitment to transparent communication with patients and families, organizations that have actively engaged with Oregon’s Patient Safety Reporting Program (PSRP), and, for the first time, organizations that have dedicated time and resources to addressing healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) through their ongoing engagement in OPSC’s Quality Improvement (QI) Initiative work.
