Finding ways to remind seniors, isolated because of the coronavirus, they are not forgotten

The walls have closed in on senior citizens during the age of COVID-19.

For those fighting to maintain independence by living alone, a telephone call has replaced visits by family members and friends. For those in senior living facilities, outside visitors and group activities are no longer allowed, measures needed to stop the spread of the virus among the population considered most at risk.

While doctors and scientists tackle prevention and treatment, there is no roadmap for dealing with the impacts on the soul and spirit of people in the twilight of their long lives.”
