Marquis Companies values the partnership we have with our patients, residents, and their families.

We are committed to providing our prospective patients and residents – and their families – with the information they need to make informed decisions about their senior living options.

As part of this commitment, we share our satisfaction surveys and ratings online.

To provide insights into our survey process, we’ve detailed how we gather, review, and share this feedback with those considering senior living options with Marquis Companies.

About Our Survey

Marquis Companies is focused on providing positive experiences for all those we serve. All survey comments and ratings are submitted by actual patients and residents of Marquis Companies, and are verified with the leading resident satisfaction company, Pinnacle Quality Insight, an HCP Company.

Pinnacle, in partnership with Ratings.MD, provides the technology needed to display our ratings and comments on our website.

Who Receives the Survey?

The survey is offered via phone to all patients and residents of Marquis Companies.

Patients and residents are asked to share their feedback and provide comments regarding specific aspects of care which we then use to enhance the care and services that we offer.

What Are Your Comment Publishing Guidelines?

Marquis Companies posts 4- and 5-star reviews that are received from survey respondents with the following exceptions:

  • Offensive, slanderous, libelous, or profane language
  • Names or detailed descriptions that jeopardize patient privacy/confidentiality
  • Comments about other providers, or instances of care

What Questions Do We Ask?

The survey questions provide respondents the opportunity to evaluate different areas of experience such as communication, dining, care services, overall experience, respect, and empathy. Results are used to evaluate the overall perception of care and to identify areas for improvement.

We calculate our star ratings based on responses to questions from the following categories included in our experience survey.

  • Overall Satisfaction
  • Personal Care
  • Quality of Food
  • Response to Problems
  • Dignity and Respect
  • Communication
  • Safety and Security
  • Recommend to Others

Why Don’t We See Patient Ratings and Comments for Every Marquis Companies Facility?

The industry best practice is clear that more data provides a more accurate picture. That’s why we require a minimum of 3 ratings and 3 comments per facility before we publish a facility’s survey feedback online. Over time, with more surveys received on an ongoing basis, the number of rated facilities will increase.

Can Anyone Complete a Survey or Post a Comment About a Provider?

No. Only patients that have been patients or residents of Marquis Companies may be selected to receive a survey. The results are based entirely from those who have actually been a patient or resident of Marquis.

How Is Patient Information Protected?

Patient names are not displayed through the online ratings and commentary reviews.
