A team of local companies from the building industry recently joined forces to tackle a $1.4 million remodeling project for Ronald McDonald House in Portland.
Ronald McDonald House Charities operates several Oregon or Washington homes, including two in Portland. They function as a “home away from home” for parents and relatives of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at hospitals and clinics in the area.
Companies that donated materials and services for the project included Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal, Marquis Companies, Vital Life Foundation, GAF Commercial Roofing Systems, Allied Building Projects, Waste Management and United Rentals. The project was completed in July.
