Broad plan launched to help fight Alzheimer's
Over the next 13 years the National Institutes of Health will fund the study of possible therapies including a nasal spray that delivers insulin directly to the brain. It’s based on evidence that Alzheimer’s and diabetes may be related. One of our memory care patients, Grace Byrne and her husband Al were featured in this story from KGW News in Portland, Ore.
